An opportunity exists for a Mechanical Engineer to fulfil the role of Package Manager for a Greenfield mine development project.

A leadership role both from a technical and project standpoint, supported by an interdisciplinary team, the Package Manager will join the company on a greenfield mine development project in its infancy.

Working within an established organisation, with well-developed intellectual property, the Package Manager will exhibit proven experience and success in the provision of Engineering advice, input and outcomes, coupled with the Management of project teams will be a required skill set.

Starting immediately, other requirements are not limited to:

  • Oversee project design, concept and feasibility with support from the package team
  • Identify, or provide advice and reporting on changes to project scope in line with project deliverables
  • Oversee the preparation of detailed designs, digital twinning, specifications, modelling and simulations
  • Prepare schedules, liaising with key internal and external stakeholders on project development and budget
  • End to end project management
  • Lithium, Mineral Sands, Nickel, Aluminium background preferred

Qualification & Experience requirements:

  • Mechanical Engineer degree – Australian recognised
  • Australian working rights
  • Located in Perth, or willing to locate
  • Technical and practical Engineering skills
  • Confidence and capability to lead a multi-discipline team
